How do I avoid ink bleeding on printed skins?
Ink bleeding usually means the printer is laying down more ink than the vinyl can handle.
What helps:
- Use the correct ICC profile for that exact vinyl
- Reduce ink or saturation by 10–20%
- Slow the print speed slightly
- Make sure heater temperatures are stable
- Give glossy or porous vinyl a bit of extra drying time between passes
Small adjustments here save a lot of wasted vinyl.
