What happens if blade force or pressure is too high?

Excess pressure can:

  • Cut through the release liner
  • Damage the cutting mat
  • Shorten blade life
  • Make weeding harder, not easier

Fix:
Set pressure so the blade cuts only the vinyl layer, not the backing. Always perform a test cut after changing materials.
